Tifton Tree Inventory available online!

Many of you are aware that the City of Tifton has been working on a Tree inventory with the help of Davey Tree.  You can now view the information from the Tree survey information online!  Currently, the inventory only covers the historic district, but it will continue to expand as the project continues.  Look up your tree and see what the Davey arborist has said about the trees on your street!

Tifton Tree Board online!

In an effort to let the citizens of Tift county and the City of Tifton know a little more about what is being done to care for the trees, The Tree Board is launching a series of pages to let everyone tune in.  Through the blog post you are currently reading and connections on Facebook, we hope that you will take a look at what we are doing, participate where you can, and give us feedback on what you'd like to see in our urban forest.  We will also be looking to let everyone browse the tree inventory that has been done through a series of grant to the City of Tifton.
